• AERIAL ARTS

    Empyrean offers Group Classes and Private Lessons in the Aerial Arts. Students can work on Aerial Silks, Sling, Lyra, Static Trapeze, Dance Trapeze, Rope, and Cube.

    No experience or physical requirements needed for most of our class offerings. You will be pleasantly surprised at what you are already capable of doing.

  • POLE DANCE & FITNESS

    Empyrean Arts was the first Pole Fitness Studio in Asheville, NC and the Western North Carolina area, opening our doors on July 16th, 2015.

    We offer group classes and private lessons starting with the absolute beginning student all the way to the advanced pole athlete. All are welcome, and we think that you will find pole an incredibly fun and unique way to work out.

  • MOBILITY - FLEXIBILITY - CONTORTION

    Empyrean strongly believes in safe, sustainable athletic training for ourselves and our students because we really love what we do and want to continue doing so for a long time.

    We encourage both our staff and our students to train both strength and suppleness for a balanced body. Our flexibility-contortion classes are open to all levels of students desiring to increase their mobility from the absolute beginner to the performing contortionist.

  • DANCE CLASSES

    Empyrean offers a variety of floor based dance classes that are unique and enjoyable with the added bonus of being a good workout too. Check out Floor Theory and Break Dance…all are welcome, and no experience is needed to attend these classes.

We are so excited about Adam @wephilyaw teaching at Empyrean this winter!! If you are interested in learning how to do a handstand or already practice handbalancing this series is for you. All levels welcome. $50 for the series.
We are stoked that Annie of @afvexoticarts is headed to Empyrean Arts on Saturday November 18th teaching Exotic Chair (4:15pm) and Choreo Pole (5:45pm)!! Students can use their existing class credits to attend or new students can purchase their first class for $15.

*** Friday January 5th 7:30-9:00pm – Rebecca Split-Offs...Learn variations on Rebecca Splits…why it works and how to manipulate the wrap. Students need to be able to easily complete single and double figure-8 foot locks in the air throughout class.

*** Saturday January 6th 4:15-5:45pm – X Marks the Spot...Belay theory and navigation into, out of, and everywhere in between. Students need to be able to easily invert into cross-back straddle throughout class from double figure-8 foot locks or dance locks, and suggested in-air inversions but not 100% necessary.

*** Sunday January 7th 12:30-2:00pm – Create your own Adventure...How to use silks theory to build unique sequences. Students need a willingness to experience exploratory fails while experimenting with new ideas and a desire to collaborate with fellow students, and suggested in-air inversions to receive maximum benefit from ideas presented.
